New favourite breakfast meal

Tried out The Fifth Palate in Kota Damansara on a Sunday afternoon.  It was packed and so ended up in the little outdoor area, which still had a good ambiance. Orders are placed at the counter.

The Butcher's Breakfast (RM 29) immediately caught my eye. It comes with eggs (either scrambled, poached or fried), ham/ bacon, sausage, tater tots, portobello mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, wholemeal rye bread, some rocket and a chutney.

The meats have the best flavor and texture I have tried so far. Totally can't find any fault withthe meal, although pricier than similar dishes elsewhere.

Food was served within 15-20 minutes of placing the order,  which was really good considering how packed it was. Looking forward to trying more stuff from this place soon.

Hazy days

It seems like a never-ending problem during this time every year, the haze. It just feels like your lungs are working doubly hard.

Ended up at a cafe to get a drink to try and wash away the discomfort all this pollution has caused.

The best breakfast one could ask for! At G3 Bangsar.

Pork pizza!

Went to Legends Bar at TTDI the other day and tried out the Heaven is Pork pizza which was nice. It has a spiciness to it that is unique.

Also totally satisfying was their version of Pigs in a Blanket.

Liked the food and ambiance, but portions were smaller than anticipated.(note: there were 4 pieces in the picture on the right. I forgot to take a picture before eating one heheh).

Durian creme brulee...

If you are a lover of durian fruit and you live in Adelaide, then head to 116, Flinders Street Adelaise SA. The Second Floor Lounge (Facebook page) serves desserts such as Durain Creme Brulee, Durian Eton Mess, and Durian Parfait. If you aren't much of a durian fan, then there are other desserts such as Strawberry Pandan Waffle and Summer Parfait to name a few.

Hogs Breath Cafe

Just some pictures of dishes from the Hogs Breath Cafe. Everything we tried was good, from the drinks to the mains and finally dessert.

For starters and appetizers, the Hog Tail Fries and Monterey Cheese Sticks are a good way to begin a meal.

The cheese sticks come with jalapeno jelly as a dip, and it goes extremely well with the cheese. Definitely recommended!

Chicken And Rib Combo

Both the prime rib dishes were excellent, the meat was soft, juicy and full of flavor. The chicken and rib combo was also good although it would be best to order it with a sauce as only the ribs are coated with sauce while the chicken pieces are not.

Hoggies Rocky Road Sundae

Finally the dessert was enormous! 8 scoops ice cream on top of chocolate mud cake, chocolate sauce and toppings. Best to share with 2 or more people, unless you have a high sweet tolerance!
